There are two main technologies of the construction of timber houses: technology of prefabrication and modular technology. Prefabrication, also described on this web page, means that the walls, roofs and floors of the building are produced in the factory and transported to the construction site for assembly. In modular technology above mentioned elements are joint together in the factory to make the self-supporting construction of a wooden container. Container is finished and equipped with electric, heating, gas and plumbing installation. Very often we also furnish the containers – especially the kitchens and bathrooms. Ready modules are transported to the construction site and fixed together in any arrangement. Single module size is limited – it is maximum 11 x 4 x 3,4 m. We can eliminate single walls to achieve large, open or built over interiors of different shapes. The construction also allows to join the containers vertically to erect even 3-storey structures. When the design requires diagonal or gable roof with the bigger slop we can manufacture additional roof construction which will be placed on the module. Outside connections between the containers are masked with outside elevation. Inside connections can be masked with decorative slats, boards or wainscoted. These characteristics make the containers suitable for different purposes – they can be used for construction of hotels, housing estates or public service objects like kindergartens, offices etc. The construction of the container is made of four times planed pine wood or profiled wood – T or double T. The thickness of thermal insulation dependson the climate of the region where houses are set – it is 8 up to 35 cm mineral wool. Inside can be finished with Fermacell boards, gypsum boards, furniture boards or plywood covered with wall paper. Outside elevation is offered in wood, steel or plaster, but this one can be spread only in the construction site. Doors and windows are available in wooden, PVC or aluminium versions. The assembly of objects compound of individual modules in the construction site is very prompt - the investor is obliged to provide a crane and prepare light foundation and utilities connections and our team of 4-5 people can finish all works within few days. On our web page you can find the pictures presenting the assembly of SONY 120 house. Additional advantage of such kind of construction is durability - suitably prepared and used wood in addition with properly done assembling guarantees that the object will keep required usable proprieties for tens of years. INSGRAF is in a possession of the designs of SONY one-family houses consisting of 2, 3 or 4 modules and the total area is 80, 100, 120 or 140 m. Designs are presented on the web page in “houses and bungalows” part. CASA Lux and Casa Nova are mobile houses for permanent living which are prefabricated as summer houses. We also have the designs and visualizations of the hotels. We are ready to make new designs, however this is possible only for the realization of at least small housing estate or building complex arranged in rows.
